As AI technology rapidly advances, it’s essential to ensure responsible use that protects privacy, minimizes bias, and fosters trust. We must co-evolve with AI, while also ensuring we build the frameworks required for a responsible AI future. Governments, technology companies and every one of us - we all have a role to play in this journey.

Singapore has led the way with its Model AI Governance Framework first released in January 2019 and the recent AI Verify initiative. aiverifyfoundation.sg offers a testing toolkit to assess AI systems’ transparency, fairness, and robustness. It helps organizations self-evaluate their AI models to identify potential risks, address biases, and improve transparency—creating a trusted ecosystem for both innovation and consumer protection.

“Let society and the technology co-evolve... with a tight feedback loop and course correction to build systems that deliver tremendous value while meeting safety requirements.” (Sam Altman, CEO OpenAI).

What do you see as the biggest challenges in ensuring AI ethics? And how can we empower individuals to make informed decisions about AI’s role in their lives?

Responsible AI isn’t just a tech issue; it’s a human one.
